This sunscreen has been great for my baby’s skin and has not broke her out or bothered her. A little goes a long ways and it applies fairly thick which makes me feel she is well protected.

This is for a 3 ounce tube, not 3 tubes. I’m not sure why people are complaining that it’s not 3 tubes.
But anyway: this stuff is great. I did a lot of research on “natural” sunscreens (badger, blue lizard, babyganics, you name it), but consumer tests found that most of them simply don’t offer the protection they say they do. Or they offer UVA protection but not UVB. In the USA, these are not required to match. I want to use eco-friendly and “ick”-free skin products, but I can’t take chances as melanoma runs in my family. However, Aveeno was found to provide UVA AND UVB protection, and it also has ingredients that for the MOST part are gentle and “clean”.
Best of all, my baby and my redhead, freckled husband do not get burnt while using this. If you’re not in the water, this stuff lasts for hours.
Con: It DOES look a little pasty, but that’s because it contains zinc oxide. And you kind of have to soap up multiple times to get it off in the shower if you aren’t in the water with it outside. (But this is just because it has good staying power.)
I highly recommend this sunscreen for its protection, its staying power, and its ingredients.

Was kind of apprehensive about buying this because of the price, and worried I would spent the money for it, and it making my two year old with very sensitive skin. I’ve tired other name brands that didn’t cost as much, and claimed to be for sensitive skin, but as soon as I put it on her she would start itching and having welts . She’s had it in for about an hour now, and she’s hasn’t itched once!!! Her skin is not breaking out, and it feels really soft. I’m not a huge fan of the smell, but it’s not a strong smell, and if keeps her from getting a sunburn and from having an eczema break out while wearing it, I’ll gladly put it on!! It might be more expensive than other brands, but it’s definitely worth it!!!

Our 10 month old baby girl broke into horribly red and painful hives for more than 12 hours soon after initial application. She was almost inconsolable and cried most of the night, so uncomfortable that she couldn’t even sleep even with me and my husband holding her and walking her around. Will never buy another Aveeno baby product. So much for this being for sensitive skin. She still has bumps on her tiny little face and hands and was rubbing her ears even after we used a gentle soap and washed off what we could.

Knock on wood, but my 10 month old hasn’t got a sunburn with it. It also goes on easy and we haven’t seen the need to reapply. I will tell you a little bit goes a LONG way. Don’t over do it when you squeeze it out to apply or your hands will look like silicone gloves! haha.

It is very effective against the sun. Used it under scorching sun in Spain/Portugal and my skin was OK after a whole day. But the white cast is bad, and it makes me itch sometimes.

I have used other sunblocks and they don’t work as well as this does. I went to Mexico for a week and didn’t get any sun. It was great.
