I bought the Nescafé Dolce Gusto coffee maker during Prime Days. Caramel Macchiato is my favorite coffee drink, so I ordered this coffee capsules with it.
After flushing the machine with filtered water first, as suggested in the user manual, I couldn’t wait to brew my first “homemade” macchiato.
The result was a coffee drink that looked exactly as on the package. However, when I started drinking it, it had a horrible taste that didn’t even come close to the original Starbucks Caramel Macchiato bought at Starbucks stores.
I poured it out, let a full tank of only water run through the coffee maker again, then brewed one of the capsules a second time. Again, it looked perfect but tasted really nasty.
Both times I used the hot brew option of the Dolce Gusto. I will try one more time with the cold brew option, to see if it tastes any better as an iced Macchiato, but I don’t have high hopes.
I also have a Keurig coffee maker and use Starbucks Blond Veranda Roast as everyday coffee. This coffee tastes absolutely delicious.
I don’t know if I just received a bad batch of Caramel Macchiato capsules, or if this mix tastes terrible in general, but I definitely won’t by these again. The terrible taste of this coffee made this purchase a waste of money.

These were terrible! Absolutely no instructions- and they didn’t work in any machine. They actually caused one of my machines to have a back-pressure issue because the plastic wouldn’t puncture. I really wanted this to be a special treat, but the boxes are just sitting there- unusable. Terrible.

The actually coffee tasted watered down, I had to use 2 coffees and 1 creamer but as you can imagine it left me with extra creamers! And I don’t like my coffee too strong so for me to say it taste watered down it’s because it was actually watered down!
The taste is ok, taste better when it’s hot but then yet I like cold coffees 😒

Not enough coffee and milk in a each capsule.
I have to brew 2 of milk and coffee capsules to make a cup of coffee.

The serving size is smaller than I’d hope, I have to use two servings to get a descent cup. This ends up costing more money as well. I’m not sure how much money I’m saving versus going to a actual Starbucks.

While brewing, the aroma of this coffee is amazing and the taste is great. It’s just the right amount of sweet when you need it. I usually don’t get this flavour in my grocery so I purchase here its much more value for money..This is my go to coffee
